Description:

Now for sale in Gateway Classic Cars Houston is this super sweet 1961 Chevrolet Corvette. The Chevrolet Corvette (C1) is the first generation of the Corvette sports car produced by Chevrolet. It was introduced late in the 1953 model year, and produced through 1962. In 1961 the C1 Solid axle generation Corvette had some upgrades including New rear styling, bumpers, 4 round taillights, and a new Mesh Grill. This sweet first-generation corvette comes with a twist and it a little different from the others in the market. Shown in a brilliant light blue paint finish that shows extremely well and is of high showroom quality. The paint condition is very nice and free from any dings, dents, scratches, or blemishes. The exterior chrome bumpers & trim are in excellent condition and really make the car stand out. The fit & finish on the car is of a very high degree and we can’t decide if the car looks better indoors or out in the sunshine. We can agree that our HD pictures do not do this car’s finish justice. With its sleek body lines, and captivating colors it is no surprise that this is one of the most collectible classic cars ever to hit the scene. The car sits on a set of very nice 19-inch Colorado custom wheels that are wrapped in BF Goodrich performance tires that have plenty of life in them. Behind those wheels you will find slotted performance steel rotors on all 4 corners that have multi-piston black calipers to bring this beauty to a stop on a dime. The black manual convertible top is in like new condition and goes up & down with ease. Powering this bad C1 down the road is a transplanted LT5 350 CiD V8 4 camshaft 32 Valve tuned port fuel injection engine out of a later model ZR-1 Corvette. The motor swapped just works for this car and fits nicely into the engine bay. It runs strong & healthy and the fact that it is paired to a 6-speed manual transmission that shifts firm but smooth into each gear, really sets this Vette apart from the rest. IT HAS A ZR-1 MOTOR PEOPLE!!! Does it get any better than that?? The interior features a multicolored black/white/blue combo that works well with the exterior. The seats, door panels, carpet, & dash are all in excellent condition and is very comfortable. The sweet 160mph white faced speedo and custom center console with 6 inch TV screen head unit that controls the cars custom & upgraded sound system. Speakers in the kick panels and fully custom trunk filled with high end Sony speakers & amps give you all the tunes you’ll need with rowing gears on that 4 cam ZR-1 motor. The body of the car is mounted on complete tubular racing chassis with fully upgraded multi-link suspension with adjustable coil over suspension on all 4 corners giving you the maximum customizing to configure the ride just the way you like it. With all new suspension & body bushings this will make sure a very comfortable and commanding ride. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando is proud to present this beautiful 1938 Packard 1605 Super Eight Convertible Sedan From the very beginning, the Packard name stood for luxury and quality and became one of the top brands in the US. Steeply based in tradition. Packard espoused reliability and effortless operation in their machinery, and that philosophy reached its apex in the 1930s. Packards were adorned with some of the most handsome bodywork available anywhere. This 1938 Packard 1605 Super Eight convertible sedan represents the pinnacle of Packard design, placing a sporting yet practical convertible sedan body on a mammoth 139-inch wheelbase. The result is an imposing, elegant car which, when the top is down, has the dashing profile of a convertible. Roll-up windows and a surprisingly large trunk make it an ideal touring partner, and received a top-flight restoration in 2011 . The Dark Blue bodywork truly stands out and looks quite spectacular. It has always been a complete, well-cared-for machine that was finally given a comprehensive rebuild in anticipation of enjoying its impressive road manners. Fit and finish are what you would expect of Packard’s finest, with doors that close with just gentle pressure ,a hood that fits snugly, and paint that remains shiny and bright .Yes, there are a few signs of use here and there, but the overall presentation is extremely impressive. Chrome and other brightwork including the grille louvers, massive bumpers, and beautiful details throughout. Of note, the hood grilles remain excellent and, of course, the famous Packard Cormorant hood ornament exhibits crisp details. The interior offers sumptuous dark blue leather that’s the ideal match to the dark blue bodywork. Still in outstanding condition, it shows only very minor signs of use. Matching door panels and refinished wood garnish moldings add to the upscale elegance, and all the door hardware is correct. The gauges offer interesting pointers that seem to float in the center of the dial. In back, there’s enough room for three to stretch out in luxurious comfort, with high-quality carpets, a foot rest. The top stows neatly in the surprisingly small compartment behind the seat, where it’s hidden under a matching boot. All Super 8s featured the legendary 320 cubic inch straight-eight which was rated at 130 horsepower. But the real story is torque, and this car moves so effortlessly you might think there’s an electric motor under the hood. The engine bay is accurately detailed. Packard added an independent front suspension and hydraulic brakes in 1937, making these late-30s Packards some of the most highly-sought tour vehicles due to their comfort. This is unquestionably a first-rate Full Classic .This is a no-excuses Packard that more than lives up to lofty expectations. This 1938 Packard 1605 is for sale in our Orlando Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. For additional information please call our knowledgeable staff at (407)771-2000 or email us at Orlando@GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is proud to announce this outstanding 1948 Ford Deluxe Convertible for sale in our Scottsdale Showroom. This high-end, complete rebuild has had some very respectable hands involved in its restoration, utilizing an array of top-notch components and it shows! This build began with a 1948 Ford Deluxe V-8 Convertible beautifully restored to its original condition with burgundy paint and a tan top. A photo album details the build step-by-step, highlighting each stage. Kugel Komponents provided their expertise by customizing the chassis to handle the torque of a supercharged engine and fabricating a state-of-the-art independent suspension with calibrated coil-over shocks front and rear. Mitech Racing Engines bored and stroked a Ford Windsor engine out to 393 Cubic inches. Topped by a BDS Supercharger and dual Holley carbs, this engine produced 520 HP and 468 ft./lbs. of torque when dynod. A Ford C4 transmission has been called upon to put this immense power to the pavement. The removable Carson top and windshield chop are the work of Gene Winfield. The fenders were sculpted to the body, the final preparations made and Candy Brandywine paint was applied by Hot Rods by Boyd Coddington. This was one of the very last cars to come out of his shop in La Habra, CA. Bills Auto Upholstery in Brea, CA provided the luxurious all-leather camel interior with heated power seats. Many modifications were performed, some of which include: Installation of a 3.90:1 Posi Independent Rear End, 20-gallon Rock Valley stainless steel fuel tank, rack and pinion power steering, 4-wheel power disc brakes w/electric vacuum pump, power windows, A/C, custom-made Dougs Headers, Blaupunkt Satellite Stereo System, Appleton spotlights on drivers & Passenger sides and the list is almost endless! You will want to make a trip to our Scottsdale Showroom just to see this unique and prestigious 1948 Ford Super Deluxe Convertible for sale NOW at Gateway Classic Cars in Scottsdale, Arizona. Description:

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass convertible. This one has been fully restored using NOS sheet metal and was given the 442 & W30 appearance. The 455 was professionally rebuilt by AMT Performance Engines and is making much more power than any W-30 that left the factory. Horsepower is rated over 400 and has boat loads of torque. All this power is useless unless you have a stout transmission, rear end and axles. Transferring this power-house is a beefed up TH-400 and back to a custom 12 bolt rear end with 3.73 gears, Posi-traction and high tensile strength axles. The shortened rear allows for beefy 275/60R15 radial rubber. The suspension consists of high performance Hotchkis and Koni. A lot of builds like this usually forget about the brakes. Thats not the case with this one! Power four wheel Wilwood disc brakes make slowing things down a breeze. Equipment for this cool convertible include Power windows, Power brakes, Power steering, Power top with glass rear window, Air conditioning, Tilt steering column, custom leather seats and seat belts. This beautiful Oldsmobile has been with the same 3rd owner for the last 18 years. It’s obvious that this one has been very well taken care of over the years. The blue metallic paint looks very fresh even though it was sprayed in 2010. The white accent stripes compliment the white top and interior very well. Finishing the look is a set of Centerline aluminum wheels wrapped in radial rubber for that classic muscle car look. For more information on this 1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass, call 618-271-3000 or stop by our St. Louis showroom. To view HD photos and video, visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com

Description:

If you want the coolest Jeep on the road or trail, you need to take a closer look at this highly customized 2015 Jeep Wrangler! Lets start with the drive train; under the hood sits a 6.4L Hemi V8 that punches out just under 500 horsepower right out of the box and pushes that power through a set of Tom Woods 1350 driveshafts hooked up to Dana 60 axles both front and rear. On all four corners you will find a set of 8-bolt Hutchinson beadlocks wrapped in a set of 40 Nitto Trail Grappler tires to get you through nearly everything you could imagine. Helping with this is the massive King shocks all the way around that soaked up the small bumps with ease and allow for enough travel and articulation on the big obstacles. If you do get stuck though, the front has been equipped with a Warn Zeon 10-S winch. The front bumper is a Poison Spyder JK Brawler and the rear is a Rockbrawler 2 built to hold up to tougher impacts and stay out of the way while out on the trail. You will never be stuck on the trail without an ample amount of light either! The 50 Rigid light bar, the 10 Rigid light bar, and the dual pair Rigid lights on the pillars will keep everything in front of you illuminated as if it were the middle of the afternoon. This Jeep isnt just a hard core off-roader though, on the highway and normal driving it is very comfortable and offers a lot of creature comforts including heated seats, navigation, and leather interior. When all the custom work was being done, there was also additional sound deadening material added to reduce road noise and keep the cabin quiet. If you decide to take it down to the local cruise night or car show, turn on the blue LED lights that shine down onto the tires and undercarriage for even more crowd appeal! This 2015 Jeep Wrangler had no expenses sparred during the build and it shows no matter where you take it or what you use it for it is up for the task! This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. It features 4 wheel disc brakes from Wilwood hiding behind Cragar SS wheels with 225/50/15 tires in front and massive 295/50/15 in rear. You need some good rubber to put down the power this machine puts out. Under the hood is a 447 CID custom built V8. The engine features an aluminum RHS aftermarket tall deck block, LS7 CNC ported hears from RHS, and a Callies 4.125 stroked steel crankshaft. With 4.165 bore and 4.125 stroke, the total cubes come to 447. It features JE forged pistons, Callies 6.300 long H beam connecting rods, Comp cams roller cam and lifters, T&D; shaft style roller rockers, and polished aluminum valve covers. It runs with a Fast tune port fuel injection system and makes a very usable 680 HP. It breathes through Ceramic coated headers, and the sweetest looking set of stainless pipes youve ever seen. The transmission is a TCI 4L80E with new TCI torque converter and flywheel. The 12 bolt rear end has been narrowed and received all new parts including Eaton Posi third member, Strange 3.42 gears, and Strange axles. The interior is all new and features 10 way power front seats which are vented as well. The stereo is factory in appearance and has Ipod capability. AC is run through the factory vents, and instrumentation is analogue gauges from Dakota Digital. A custom console houses an original style shifter. The trunk is finished and features custom panels to conceal the battery, sub woofer, amp, and nitrous bottle. Every part of this build has been well thought out and well executed. Description:

Our Nashville showroom digitally showcases this incredible 1933 Chevrolet 5 window coupe. Where to start, with most cars it is easy to pick a point to highlight but this car is a joy to look at no matter which angle. I got comfortable on the concrete floor of our showroom just gazing in amazement as the frame, exhaust and suspension is not only beautiful but also done with an eye towards performance. So, I guess I will start at the bottom and work up. The 15 inch front and 17 inch rear wire rims have been power coated orange with polished stainless center caps and trim rings and you know if this kind of attention went into the rims you can only imagine the thought, money and work that went into the rest of the car! The front tires are connected to the car with polished stainless A arms and sway bar. Coil over adjustable springs handle the independent front suspension and power disc brake up front for stopping. Polished stainless 4 link bars that tie the 10 bolt rear axle in place. It is easy to see why this car finished in the top ten at the “shades of the past hot rod round up in Pigeon forge TN! The first thing most people notice is the deep black paint job and I can tell you, there are days of sanding and buffing to get the all steel body to shine to this degree. The paint still looks wet! The next thing you notice is the chrome and there is a lot of it, is just as deep as the paint. Tan leather interior with a bench seat or pull down the center arm rest for the bucket seat look. Leather on the door cards and even the headliner looks to be the same material with a suede insert. Power windows, air conditioning and even a 6 disc Compact disc player keep you comfortable as you cruise past the bystanders with their eyes wide in wonder. Powering this classic hot rod is a Chevrolet small block with 350 cubic inches featuring an Edelbrock® intake and Carburetor, H.E.I. distributor and block hugger headers. Bolted to the back of this classic set up is a 4 speed automatic transmission a 700R4. Not one trick was missed, or penny pinched anywhere on this car. Even the trunk is fully detailed and lighted and has a secret compartment housing the CD player and battery. I could go on and on but time and space do not allow. Options for this 1933 Chevrolet 5 window coupe include: Air conditioning, AM/FM c/d player. Cruise control, Heated leather seats, Power windows, steering and brakes, Tilt steering wheel and wire rims with radial tires. To see this car in greater detail including 100+ HD photos and video www.gatewayclassiccars.com . for more information please call 615-213-1800 or send us an email at nashville@gatewayclassiccars.com

Description:

Aston Martin did not stray far from its winning combination with this Vantage S, continuing the striking good looks both inside and out, and providing an even more powerful V-12 engine. This Aston Martin Vantage S certainly looks the part, ready to pounce with its wide stance and pronounced rear wheel arches. New for this model Vantage S is a carbon-fiber grille inset. Arrayed across the hood are extensive vents for the V-12, accented in carbon fiber. Inside are a driver-oriented cockpit and a tall center stack with two important buttons: one for adjusting steering response and setting the adaptive damping to Normal, Sport, or Track mode; and a second that toggles a Sport mode for quicker throttle responses and shifts and a throatier growl out back. That growl is generated by the V-12, a carry-over from the days when Ford owned Aston, now shucked of all its FoMoCo roots save the rods and the pistons. Aston rates its AM28 V-12 at 565 horsepower and 457 lb.-ft. of torque, 376 of the latter ready at 1000 rpm. 0-60mph comes up in an estimated 3.8 seconds, with a top speed of 205mph. The opportunity to purchase this car is a once in a lifetime event, so act fast before this Aston Martin Vantage S gets away!! 1964 Ford Galaxie 500XL 427 R-Code for sale! Motorcar Classics is proud to present this exceptional 1964 Ford Galaxie 500XL Fastback coupe featured in Raven Black with Red interior. This is a rare and authentic R-Code car which refers to the 427CI, 425HP Dual-Quad V8 motor. The 427 R0Code motor was offered as an option in the big Galaxie line to homologate it for NASCAR competition along with the mandatory Toploader 4-Speed gearbox. This icon of early 60s American muscle was meticulously restored by marque expert Don Allen with all Ford NOS stock components. It has covered very few miles since completion. Features on this car include; Correct markings throughout, fully detailed undercarriage, Perma-Tuned transistor ignition, 3.50 rear axle, Bucket seats with center console, Heat & Defrost with instruction tags, Fender skirts, Full-size spinner wheel covers, and Whitewall tires. In 2008, this virtually flawless 1964 Ford Galaxie 500XL R-code received the Antique Automobile Club of Americas Grand National Award scoring 100 of 100 points. This awesome automobile came from the Total Performance Program launched by Ford in 1961 to establish it as a world power in motorsports. In 1963, the ensuing engine development program produced one of the most powerful production engines ever built: the R-code 427 CI FE big-block V-8 first seen in the full-size SportsRoof fastback 1963 Galaxie. Based on the Ford-Edsel (FE) block introduced in 1958, the R-code was specifically designed for homologation in NASCAR and would later see use in Shelbys big-block Cobras and the Ford GT40. Underrated at 425 HP at 6,000 RPM, its reinforced block featured cross-drilled 4-bolt mains and incorporated a forged steel crank and heavy-duty connecting rods, forged aluminum pistons, 11.5:1 compression, a high-lift, high-duration solid-lifter camshaft, an aluminum high-rise intake manifold with dual inline Holley carburetors fed by high-flow 3/8-inch fuel lines, Perma-Tuned transistor ignition and thin wall header-style exhaust manifolds. Equipped with the requisite Toploader 4-speed manual transmission and 3.50:1 rear end, the R-code Galaxie 500XL was powerful and luxurious, and almost unbeatable in NASCAR competition, dominating the circuit with Manufacturers Championships in 1963 and 1964. This Don Allen-restored 1964 Galaxie 500XL is an outstanding example of the flagship R-code finished in the correct factory color combination of Raven Black with a contrasting red interior featuring bucket seats, a center console, AM/FM radio and in-dash clock. Completed with white-stripe tires, full-size spinner wheel covers and fender skirts, it shows correct markings throughout and is well detailed, including the undercarriage.
