Description:

Now for sale in our Gateway Classic Cars of Houston showroom is this beautiful 1970 Dodge Challenger! This beast is powered by a 340 CID V8 6-pack that was rebuilt 4800 miles ago. The 3-speed 904 TorqueFlight transmission was rebuilt even more recently than the engine, covering only about 1000 miles since being done. The 8:34 rear end features 3:23 gears and has also been rebuilt about 1000 miles ago. The exterior is finished in a stunning blue code PB3 paint which brings out the amazing body lines of this classic Mopar machine. The car has received an entirely new A/C and heating system from vintage air. All new March Performance Serpentine drive kit, new MSD ignition system, new radio, new Dakota digital dash, new digital tail lights, new disc brakes in the front, new dash pad. The car has been very well cared for and it’s very obvious when you look around the car. It was one of two Chrysler E-body cars, the other being the slightly smaller Plymouth Barracuda. Both the Challenger and Barracuda were available in a staggering number of trim and option levels and were intended to compete against cars like the Chevrolet Camaro and Ford Mustang, and to do it while offering virtually every engine in Chryslers inventory. The performance model was the R/T (Road/Track), with a 383 cu in (6.28 L) Magnum V8, rated at 335 bhp; 300 bhp for 1971, due to a drop-in compression. The standard transmission was a 3-speed manual. Optional R/T engines were the 375 bhp 440 cu in (7.2 L) Magnum, the 390 bhp 440 CID Six-Pack and the 425 bhp 426 cu in (7.0 L) Hemi. The R/T was available in either the hardtop or convertible. The Challenger R/T came with a Rallye instrument cluster that included a 150-mph speedometer, an 8,000 rpm tachometer, 1972–1974 tachometer went to 7,000 rpm and an oil pressure gauge. In 1972, the R/T badging was dropped and these models were called Rallye, although they were never badged as such. The Rallye model featured a faux brake vent on the fenders. The shaker hood scoop was not available after 1971. The same year this car rolled off the assembly line the worlds first jumbo-jet, the Boeing 747, has its first commercial flight on January 22nd of 1970. For more information on this Challenger located in our Houston showroom, come by and see us at 1910 Cypress Station Dr Suite 200, Houston, TX 77090. Description:

The 1969 Camaro marked the last of the first generations and is arguably the most popular. It featured entirely new, more aggressive looking sheet metal and revised grille. Going away was the coke bottle shape, making room for a flatter, wider looking stance. The Camaro was available in many different configurations, from a standard Sport Coupe, a rubber melting Super Sport, or a track-ready Z/28. The SS was The One with a Name Like the Hiss of a Snake. Big power, special 3-speed transmission, sport striping, heavy insulated hood. Hiding under the stock SS hood on this Hugger Orange beauty is a beast of a V8! Where a salty 350 once sat now resides a NEW 434 cubic inch Nye’s racing engine that starts out with a Dart little M block with all forged internals, solid roller comp cam #12-990-9. Topping off the power house is a set of AFR eliminator 220 cylinder heads that help bump the compression ratio to 13.1:1. Providing the spark needed is a DUI distributor that has been built specifically for this engine setup. Only 700 miles have been put on this engine so it has tons of life left and is just starting to come to life! No expense was spared on any aspect of the restoration of this car! Transferring the power to the rear of the car is the same 3-speed automatic that came in the car from the factory but the only part that hasn’t been upgraded is the exterior case of the transmission. The body and paint are excellent with an impressive panel fit. Making it truly a car that needs to be seen in person to be truly appreciated. The black interior was definitely not overlooked during the restoration. When you are lucky enough sit behind the steering wheel you will notice the factory console gauges have been replaced with upgraded aftermarket gauges. The main reason for the upgrade is to have better accuracy while monitoring the vitals of the car. Helping get the power to the ground is the 12 bolt rear-end that houses a set of 4.10 gears. At all four corners there are Ralley wheels with new trim rings wrapped in BFGoodrich radial tires. And last but not least this car comes with ALL of the original parts that have been upgraded or replaced during the restoration. This includes but is not limited to the numbers matching 350 V8, Air Conditioning setup, power steering as well as the 3.31 gears that were replaced wit the 4.10s. You can view this 1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. his 1955 Ford Thunderbird is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The Thunderbird was Henry Fords response to the Chevrolet Corvette, and was revealed at the Detroit Auto Show on February 20, 1954. No one could have predicted the success the Thunderbird would have. The Thunderbirds first year of production literally outsold the Corvette more than 23 to 1. Though it was sleek and sporty, the Thunderbird was not considered a sports car to Ford, but a personal luxury vehicle. This example is one of the cleanest I have seen. The paint on the car is slick and clean with the chrome trim being polished to a high luster. The wire wheels with the wide white wall tires. Under the hood is the original 292 Y block that runs extremely well. The 3-speed manual transmission is not something you often see in these making for a nice surprise. Hit the button on the power seat and get comfortable after all that was what these baby birds were all about. With the original removable hardtop restored it the same condition this is a bird that will turn heads no matter what from it’s in. If you have wanted a baby bird that is of the highest quality this beauty is for you. Description:

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1936 Ford 5 Window coupe. This isnt your traditional 36 and may be mistaken for a 37. One of the most notable features is the transformation from a rumble seat into an operable trunk lid. You would be hard pressed to find another 36 5 window with this custom treatment. The eye catching blue paint is a one year only 2002 Volkswagen Aquarius Blue. It certainly looks period correct but with a little pop. The restoration is top notch thanks to a seasoned car builder and a solid body. This 36 is still using all of its original sheet metal! The top was filled, the trunk was heavily modified by removing the rumble seat and precise cutting to create a trunk, custom headlights, tail lights, bumpers and firewall. Underneath is just as impressive and features a Mustang II designed front suspension with upper and lower control arms with power rack and pinion steering. Power front disc and rear drums make for easy braking. The polished stainless steel 18-gallon fuel tank looks beautiful. Power comes from a mild 1970 350 small block Chevy and sends the power through a TH-350 automatic transmission and back to an open rear diff with 2.75:1 gears. The build has just over 6,000 miles and is sure to impress. Inside is a Tea C bench seat, Dolphin Gauges, tilt steering column and A/C controls. The front windshield still tilts outward and the rear window also rolls down. For more information on this custom 1936 Ford 5 window, call 618-271-3000 or stop by our St. Louis showroom. Description:

This 1973 AMC Javelin is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. This 1973 Javelin is unlike any other one on the road. With its apocalyptic theme and Trans Am racer styling this has to be one of the coolest you have seen. The front of the Javelin was treated to a handmade front spoiler which is where the theme starts. Followed onto the front grill with the original parking lights mounted on both sides while the modern LED lights were fitted into the original headlight bezels. The orange satin color is courtesy of a 3M wrap which is a lot more durable than any paint job. The grey stripes over the hood compliment the metal work with AMC and LSX imprinted in them. The rear of the car has been treated to a wide body kit allowing for the monster 335 tires to be placed under the fenders. The rear has been blacked out with the spoiler giving the rear end that trans am racer look. Pop the hood and all you see is custom metal work. From the engine cover to the firewall they nailed the apocalyptic theme. The LS3 engine that lies underneath that metalwork has been outfitted with a cam while a custom tune gets the most out of this small block. Mated up to a T56 6 speed with an ACT twin disc clutch making it extremely durable while having a great pedal feel. The custom 9 inch rear end has been stuffed Nitro gear and Axle shafts giving you confidence when you want to drop the clutch and lay down some fresh black stripes. Bringing everything to screeching holt is a Wilwood big brake kit with a set of 6 piston calipers upfront and a 4 piston in the rear this is one Javelin that will stop on a dime. The suspension on the car with adjustability in mind and thanks to QA1 coil over front and rear the possibilities are endless. Inside the theme is continued with the rear of the car blocked off by the same metal work while the kicker speakers are loud enough to overcome the exhaust note from that nasty LS3. The gauges go perfectly with the interior complimenting the build nicely. The roll cage not only looks great but adds that extra layer of protection with the harnesses keeping you in the seat in case the unfortunate happens. If you have wanted a car that looks like no other with true modern-day comforts and jaw dropping performance this 73 Javelin is the perfect match. This car was part of SEMA Battle of Builders 2016,Hotrod magazine 2016, Holley LS Fest 2017,Power Tour 2016 and 2017 which proves this monster is ready for the road. Options on this 1973 AMC Javelin include, AC, AM/FM Radio, Power Steering, Vinyl and Cloth Interior, Racing Harness, and Radial Tires mounted on Fuel Alloy Wheels. This 1973 AMC Javelin is for sale in our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD Video at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Atlanta is very excited to offer this Custom 1954 Chevrolet 210 Coupe on display in our showroom. This extra fine example was treated to a complete rotisserie nut & bolt restoration that has been done nearly a decade - and its hard to believe - but thats proven by the photos documenting the work by Sterling Customs Hot Rod Shop in GA. You can see the quality of workmanship - by the lack of needed repairs - on a car thats been built this long ago - and driven. The PPG paint is a 3-stage Orange/Green with Pearl White Top and interior accents. Her body lines are all correct, the paint is so flat - and the metal flake so well applied - that you know this wasnt an inexpensive job - there were many a man-hour invested in this project. You cant go this far w/o addressing the trim and bumpers - and they all look new! Because were so close to SC - one might say those are Clemson colors - and you can see the similarity - either way - Id say it looks right on this car! The interior was done by Steve Holcomb Pro Auto who made a few tasteful-touches - with the addition of luxury power bucket seats, a chrome tilt column, Grant GT leather-wrapped wheel, the custom dash work to embody the a/c ports, along with the console with floor shift. You can tell this wasnt your basic leather applied in here - this was upgraded! The dash was kept original, with the addition of Omega Kustom Instruments gauges - and just looks so right! This beauty is powered by GM Crate 350 V-8 rated at 300-hp, with Edelbrock Performer EPS aluminum intake, Holley 4-BBl carb, mated to a new Turbo 350 automatic transmission, and 10-bolt rear end w/ 3:08 gears with consignor stated 3,200-miles since installed. This 1954 210 Coupe is loaded with extras like leather interior, power steering, power brakes, a/c, tilt column, AM/FM/CD stereo, Boss Motor Sports chrome 5-star wheels, with Nitto NT555 245/40ZR18, 285/40ZR18 radial tires. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars Ft. Lauderdale showroom is proud to offer this beautiful one of one 1970 Moulin Rouge and Black Plymouth Duster. This Duster is the only one known to exist with this color combo which makes it Super RARE! The Duster coupe provided the compact sized Plymouth Valiant with a sporty body style. The Valiant badge only appeared on the first model year Dusters. Built on the Valiant platform, they shared the same front end, but had a different design from the cowl back. Designed to compete with The Ford Maverick, the AMC Hornet, Nova, and oddly enough the VW Beetle. This beautifully restored 1970 Duster is a matching numbers masterpiece. It was featured in Mopar Magazines April 2005 edition. All the factory markings were reapplied to the finished restoration. Every grease pencil mark and paint splotch went back where the factory placed them. At the 2004 All Chrysler Nationals at Carlisle, this 1970 Duster occupied a place of honor in the invitational building along with other illustrious factory show cars. The black vinyl interior looks as good as new and feels just as comfortable. One very rarely finds a muscle era Mopar with a contrasting color painted roof. Its powered by the original 340 V8. A 3.55 Sure Grip rear end makes it easy to light up the F70-14 Polyglas tires on the 14 Ralleys. This one of a kind 1970 Plymouth Duster is an absolute blast to drive and will most likely get more attention that any vehicle it pulls up next to. Options on this magnificent 1970 Plymouth Duster include AM/FM Radio, Power Brakes, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, and Rally Wheels. This 1970 Plymouth Duster is located in our FT. Lauderdale Showroom and can be seen in greater detail, including a High Def video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. This car holds the distinguished title of the worlds fastest Edsel. The large displacement V8 is topped by a Dyers blower that is being fed fuel by a two EFI TBI injection system that helps make big power and increase drivability. This 1958 Edsel Ranger sports ceramic coated headers that look great and help keep temps down in the engine bay Backing this powerplant is the venerable C6 automatic transmission which features a TCI ratchet shifter that allows you to manually shift this automatic trans. This 1958 Edsel for sale manages to look classy with its deep black and pure white paint and gleaming chrome trim. The black and white interior of this Edsel for sale continues this strange duplicity with beautiful cloth and vinyl seats that look fancy and high class yet are comfortable and functional. It even has the rear bench seat to match that in the front. With fully functional lights and turn signals this Edsel is ready to hit the road in the next power tour or cruise around town on a Friday night. However, as you look around, you will notice the switches and the roll cage and the racing harness seat belts that dont usually appear in your typical laid-back Sunday cruiser. These little touches remind you that this Edsel Ranger for sale wants nothing more than to scare all the Prius owner at the local Dairy Queen when you take the kids out for Ice Cream. Oh yea, and as fast as this car is, the Ice cream wont have time to melt on the way home. Streetable power and unique design are the name of the game here! Description:

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1970 Dodge Super Bee. This 440-6 4 speed car benefits from a recent frame off restoration and looks fantastic. The restoration was very detailed and focused on correctness. The engine and transmission were rebuilt at the time of restoration and have covered a modest 500 miles. Enough for proper break in, yet still very fresh. The engine is a warranty replacement from many years ago and the car is equipped with a correct Dana 60 rear end, appropriate for a 6 pack car equipped with a 4 speed. Options are slim but lets face it, its a high performance muscle car... who cares about options. Big block power and a four speed, yes and yes! The three 2 barrel carbs are dialed in nicely. The colors for this rare Mopar are original and perfect for nostalgia. Who else is tired of every car being repainted red? We must save the rare colors from the good days. Burnt Orange Metallic with a white Super Bee stripe over a Sunfire Orange vinyl interior and a set of body colored steel wheels wrapped in redline radials make this car stand out. Whoever specd out this car knew exactly what they were doing. Inside are bucket seats, a full array of gauges and a pistol grip shifter. With 390 horsepower and 490 lbs./ft. torque, this 1970 Super Bee is ready to go!
