Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to present this 2009 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500KR for sale in our St. Louis showroom. The GT500 name plate has been around since 1967 with the KR edition running only one year in 68. The 68 KR or King Of The Road is one of Shelbys greatest achievements. With the all mighty 428 under the hood combined with the strikingly good looks of the Fastback body style left the competition and America speechless. Shortly after the Muscle car wars would die out until the new millennium came around and all sudden the big three were right back at it. Ford teamed up with Carrol once again and in late 2008 a batch of KRs would hit the market. With remarkable success, another 571 units were built in 2009 and only 192 in Black making this a highly sought-after piece of American Muscle. The whine of the Supercharger is something and is guaranteed to put a smile on your face. The 5.4-liter 32 valve engine happily accepts the compressed fuel turning it into a factory rated 540HP. The interior of this beauty is leaps and bounds ahead of the 68 version but I guess after 40 years it should be. The Leather seats are comfortable and all power making you feel like youre in a luxury car instead of a Muscle Car. The 6-speed manual transmission allows to be in the right RPM range always while helping with MPGs. With the collector car market on fire this ultra-rare new age classic is guaranteed not to last long. Options on this 2009 GT500KR, AC, AM/FM/CD, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Windows, Power Seats, Seat Belts, Leather Interior, Cruise Control, Tilt Wheel and a set of Custom Wheels Wrapped with Radial tires. The only think this King of the Road is missing is you! This 2009 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500KR is for sale in our St. Louis Showroom and can be seen in great detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. This 2-owner classic Porsche began its life in California as a 4-cylinder stock 914. With only 3300 total 914/6 models ever built, originals are now pricing over $100,000! This conversion has the Porsche 911, 2.4 Liter, Carbureted, Flat 6-Cylinder engine with original 914/6 sheet metal installed around the engine. The transmission is the coveted 5-speed manual “Side Shifter” Gearbox which was implemented in 1973. This Porsche also has 911 suspension, brakes and Factory Fuchs Alloy Wheels. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Kansas City is thrilled to offer this stunning red with white stripes, 1965 Mustang Fastback 2+2! The 1965 Mustang set an all-time record for first-year sales of any new model. Todays auto market is too fragmented with different types of cars for a single model to ever get the wildly enthusiastic reception of the first Ford Mustang in America. Americans had few foreign models from which to choose in the 1960s, so domestic autos ruled the market. Lee Iacocca, then the young, savvy head of Ford Motors Ford division, felt a sporty, inexpensive model would be hot because it would be youth-oriented and World War II baby boomers were getting their first drivers licenses. Also, the 15-29 age group was expected to grow by almost 40 percent between 1960 and 1970. The 1965 Mustang hardtop coupe drew 501,965 buyers, the convertible 101,945 and the fastback coupe 77,079. Iacocca even told Carroll Shelby to build an affordable, modified, limited-production 1965 Mustang that could beat no less than Chevy Corvettes on race tracks. Shelby did just that, using the semi-fastback body. Our stunning red with white stripes fastback looks a lot like the racing version produced by Carroll Shelby. With a powerful 302 V-8 engine lurking under the hood, backed by a quick shifting manual 5 speed transmission and racing seatbelts to hold you in securely, this awesome mustang fastback is sure to be a red blur on the highway! So, if youre looking to stand out in a crowd of mundane musclecars, call your friends today at Gateway Classic Cars of Kansas City to make this handsome iconic Ford yours. Description:

Up for sale in our Atlanta showroom is this 1-owner 1966 Ford Cobra replica. This Ford Cobra replica rolling chassis was produced by Evorett Morrison and has the classic Shelby look! These cobra replicas are very popular due to the extreme thrill it is to drive one of these cars based on the V-8 engines installed in these light weight chassis. The consignor states he built the car for himself - and based on what he installed - you can tell he had a purpose -to have a strong running - dependable rocket w/ A/C. He started the process in 2009, and had his 460 V8 blue-printed, and machined - added Ford Motorsport Cobra aluminum heads, that were ported and polished, Ford Motorsport ¾ cam, fuel injection added, dyno tested @550-hp, mated to a Mat Carr AOD transmission rated at 850-hp, and a rebuilt Ford 9 posi-traction rear end, w/ 3:55 gears. We did mention he built her to drive - didnt we? She is painted in a metallic red, w/ gold stripes, and matching wheel inserts - he also wanted her to stand out, and she does! This Cobra replica sure shows well, and she also shows some minor patina. Its loud and fast, and ready to roar! This example is showing 320-miles on the odometer - as the consignor stated the original had gone bad around 3,000-miles prior. Options on this Ford include; automatic transmission, leather seats, powder coated side pipe exhaust, seat belts, optional convertible top, alloy wheels w/ spinners, Firestone FireHawk SZ50 P245/45ZR17, P285/40ZR17 radial tires. This Cobra replica is ready for the next care giver, open road, and that rumble of a race car and the power under the hood that can set you back in an instant. Its already a favorite in our showroom and wont last long. Come check it out for yourself. To see 100+ HD pictures and videos of this 1966 Cobra replica, please visit GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Fort Lauderdale is proud to offer this 1974 Dodge Charger Super Bee tribute. This gorgeous yellow and black charger pays tribute to the 1971 Dodge Charger Super Bee. From 1968 to 1970 the Super Bee was applied exclusively to the Dodge Coronet. Then, in 1971 the Super Bee package was applied to the Dodge Charger. This was the last year, until late model Super Bees, that the Charger carried the Super Bee name. The Super Bee Charger was a relatively rare car as there were only 5,054 ever produced in 1971. This particular charger is powered by a 340cid V8 mated to a 3-speed automatic transmission. It drives like a true muscle car and makes all the right sounds. The body was tripped down two years ago and was completely restored. Any traces of rust were eliminated. A beautiful coat of PPG paint was applied and looks gorgeous in and out of the sun. This charger recently received a new carburetor, intake, and factory wheels. It has a very aggressive appearance with its front and rear spoilers, hood scoop, Bumble Bee badges, and color combination. This Super Bee tribute has Directed brand speakers both up front and in the rear. It’s ok if you’re not a music person as the exhaust sounds fantastic. This special Dodge features an AM/FM radio, a CD player, power brakes, power steering, seat belts, a vinyl interior, and radial tires with raised white letters.
