Description:

The front-wheel drive DTS was manufactured at GM's Detroit/Hamtramck Assembly factory from July 2005 through May 2011.[4] Base price of the entry DTS at time of introduction was US$41,195 ($52,847 in current dollars) which was over 10% lower than the DeVille model it had replaced. One major feature change from the DeVille to the DTS was the elimination of standard 6-passenger seating configuration for non-limousine models. However, such capability remains an optional feature for fleet clients.[5] Even though priced less than the rear-wheel drive STS, the DTS is longer than the STS.

The DTS has standard industry features including multiple airbags, bi-functional xenon high-intensity discharge HID headlamps, leather seating, and power seats. Options include navigation system, Magnetic Ride Control (magnetic ride control on performance models only), moonroof, chrome wheels, heated/cooled seats, and a heated steering wheel. A new DTS Platinum edition was released in 2007 with special interior trim, badging, and other luxury amenities.

The DTS incorporates the updated GM G-platform (GM chose to continue referring to it as the K platform,[1] as denoted by the 4th letter in the VIN), and is powered by a transverse[6] 32V Northstar V8, which produces 275 bhp (205 kW) in "Standard", "Luxury" and "Premium" trims. The DTS Platinum is equipped with 292 bhp (218 kW) version.[3] GM phased out all GM fender badges from vehicles during the 2010 model year, including those on the Cadillac DTS.[7]

For 1978, this package added a unique black/silver two-tone exterior paint combination and "perforated-style" leather seats in light gray only. Real wire wheels were standard as were a host of other features which were optional and/or unavailable on the base Seville.

In 1979, a second color combination was added, a two-tone copper shade with a matching leather interior. For the second generation Seville Elegante in 1985, a monotone paint combination became available, however dual-shade combinations, which were now available in various colors, remained more popular. Description:

For sale in our Nashville showroom is a one of a kind 1940 Studebaker Commander. This 1940 Studebaker Commander for sale is an incredible find with less than 1500 miles on this car, that’s right less than fifteen hundred, this car is like a time capsule and has spent a year in the Studebaker museum. This 164.3CID I6 had all the ground pounding power for the day packing a punch with 80 full horses under the hood. The smooth clean lines of this car show Studebaker’s forward thinking and just seeing one for the first time on the showroom you would instantly know it was bound to become a classic. Open the door to this 1940 Studebaker for sale and air from 1940 rushes out. Inside this car you will find liberal use of bakelite (or polyoxybenzylmethenglycolanhydride ) this was an early form of plastic and expensive for the day and reserved for the finer things in life. The gauges have clean faces and are easy to read, none are faded and full of dust like a lot of classic cars that have not been restored. This 1940 Commander for sale is not perfect but it sure looks great for being 77 years old and once again, only 1413 actual miles. I have put more miles than that on a car in a week. Let’s see, 77 years old and only 1413 miles so that is how many miles per year, divide by 3.14, carry the 1, that’s 18.35 miles a year! The owner of this car, (only the third) states that all the body panels are original. The inline flat head six cylinder starts and runs like new and purrs like a tiger. Riding on wide white wall Bias ply tires this 1940 Commander looks like it just took a ride on H.G. Wells Time machine. So, if you are looking for a classic car that looks like a million, runs great and you are only planning on driving it about 18 miles a year, this is your car. Options for this 1940 Studebaker Commander include: Cloth interior and wide white wall bias ply tires and 1413 miles! A $237.37 document fee will be added to the sales price. All purchases may be subject to any applicable tax, title, & licensing fees. For more information call the Nashville showroom at 615-213-1800 or send us an email nashville@gatewayclassiccars.com

Description:

In 1950 Buick produced its very first Riviera, a 2-door hardtop. What a beauty even before its restoration. Now you are looking at a street legal creation that exceeds all expectations. This beauty began its rebuild journey as a garage kept, family jewel in western Kansas. From day one everything was planned to very well with no short cuts, and no expense spared. The powerplant is a 496-crate motor with a Weiand 872 mega blower. The base engine dynod at 520HP and according to Weiand the 871 BBC mega blower puts on out about 200HP to that. So, you will be sitting at the top of roughly 750 horse. It is exciting as you will see once the beauty becomes yours. Driving a machine with a blower does require some adjustment space and alignment everywhere, in decided subframe both the front and the rear. The front end is a late model SS Camaro and the rear setup is 4 Bar with strange axles and mosey assembly. Of course, this beauty has all the cool stuff too. Power steering, power brakes, Power windows, AC, and more . The Carson top is hand made from tubular and rolled aluminum with a chop. The cooling system is from a late model chevy dually pickup (7.4L) with double bypass. The AC is vintage air. The seats are Lincoln Continental. The interior and trunks are ultra-leather with asolid headliner. The wheels are Budnick. The rear tires are MT Sportsman. This dream car has less than 500 miles driven. There is nothing else that can make this better than it is. I hope that you will love and enjoy this car as much as its previous owner has. The series 3 was only available as a coupe 2+2 and convertible “roadster models. From 1971-1975 7,200 2+2s were produced.
