Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Atlanta is proud to offer this Beautiful 1967 Mercedes-Benz 230SL. The Production of the 230 SL commenced in June 1963 and ended on 5 January 1967. Its chassis was based on the W 111 sedan platform, with a reduced wheelbase by 30 cm (11.8 in), recirculating ball steering (with optional power steering), double wishbone front suspension and an independent single-joint, low-pivot swing rear-axle with transverse compensator spring. The dual-circuit brake system had front disc brakes and power-assisted rear drum brakes. The 230 SL was offered with a 4-speed manual transmission, or an optional, very responsive fluid coupled (no torque converter) 4-speed automatic transmission, which was popular for US models. From May 1966, the ZF S5-20 5-speed manual transmission was available as an additional option, which was particularly popular in Italy. Of the 19,831 230 SLs produced, less than a quarter were sold in the US. The 2,308 cc (2.3 L) M127.II inline-six engine with 148 hp and 145 lb·ft torque was based on Mercedes-Benz venerable M180 inline-six with four main bearings and mechanical Bosch multi-port fuel injection. Mercedes-Benz made a number of modifications to boost its power, including increasing displacement from 2,197 cc (2.2 L), and using a completely new cylinder head with a higher compression ratio (9.3 vs. 8.7), enlarged valves and a modified camshaft. A fuel injection pump with six plungers instead of two was fitted, which allowed placing the nozzles in the cylinder head and shooting the fuel through the intake manifold and open valves directly into the combustion chambers. An optional oil-water heat exchanger was also available. Mercedes-Benz Chief Engineer Rudolf Uhlenhaut demonstrated the capabilities of the 230 SL on the tight three-quarter mile Annemasse Vétraz-Monthoux race track in 1963, where he put up a best lap time of 47.5 seconds vs. 47.3 seconds by Grand Prix driver Mike Parkes on his 3-liter V12 Ferrari 250 GT. Options include power steering, power brakes, a/c, seat belts, Convertible tops, Removable hard, top, AM/FM, Hub Caps. This 1967 Mercedes-Benz 230SL is for sale in our Atlanta Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. For additional information please call our knowledgeable staff at (678) 894-4833 or email us at Atlanta@GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is excited to offer this ultra-low mileage 2005 Dodge Ram SRT-10 for sale on consignment at our Arizona showroom, located in North Phoenix. It would have been entertaining to be the fly on the wall for the reaction when someone at Chrysler floated the idea of dropping a V-10 motor sourced from a Dodge Viper into a pickup truck, but this Black 2005 Dodge is evidence that wild ideas can turn into success stories. Lets start with the most important feature of this fast and furious truck, the 8.3l naturally aspirated Viper V-10 motor from Street and Racing Technology, Chrysler Corporations performance division. This fierce motor is good for an even 500hp and a 5.3 second 0-60 run and smokes a stock Ford F-150 Lightning from this era comfortably. Better yet, this 2005 model has literally been stashed away for almost 15 years and has only been driven 1,800 miles in total. Unbelievable! All Quad Cab SRT-10 pickups like this one came with a 4-speed automatic transmission linked to a Dana 60 rear end. Naturally, Dodge upgraded several important components to compliment the Viper motors power including Bilstein shocks, heavy duty brakes and Pirelli performance tires. The locking, body-color matched tonneau cover with rear spoiler is a defining feature on these SRT-10s and provide style as well as utility, as do the 22inch 10-spoke chrome wheels. Inside this all-stock Dodge youll find Black leather/cloth insert seating for five with the “SRT logo embossed on the driver and passenger buckets. A full set of gauges including a 160mph speedometer and a 7000rpm tachometer gives you plenty to keep an eye on while driving and air conditioning controls/audio system help you stay comfortable and in good spirits while doing so. This Viper derived pickup takes it to the next level in terms of performance and it could be yours to enjoy - theres plenty of mileage left to do just that! Give our helpful and knowledgeable Sales team a call at (623) 900-4884 before someone else does and well put our eyes and ears on this monster hauler 2005 Dodge Ram SRT-10 for you. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1967 Ford Mustang GTA Fastback S-Code. The 1967 Mustang Fastback has gone down as one of the must iconic cars of its era. The sweeping lines and big block engines available only make these cars more desirable and the reason they still bring premium money today. This example left the factory, as verified by the Marti report, with a 390 under the hood also known as an s-code. Taken done and built form the ground up the car is now packing a bored and stroked 390 with a total displacement of 445 cubic inches now giving this car a whole new level of power. This rebuilt FE big block has just over 500 miles on it since the installation. The stroked-out FE big block has dressed up with a March Pulley system. The pulley is more than just for good looks, a single serpentine belt reduces parasitic drag. Keeping the engine cool is a new aluminum radiator equipped with dual electric fans. A set of FPA coated headers gets the gases of the engine and sends them to a pair of stainless steel Magnaflow mufflers. The built c6 transmission handles all that power nicely shifting through all 3 gears without hesitation. The Ford 9-inch rear end has a 3.25 gear set making the car a pleasure to drive on the back roads and good enough to cruise down the highway. Posi-traction allows for both rear wheels to lay down rubber at will. The Grab-a-trac suspension has been gone through and upgraded with 620 lb coil (front), 5 leaf rear springs, 1 1/8 inch thick front sway bar and KYB gas adjust shocks…….. the car handles as if it was racing down the road in 1967. The upgraded Wilwood front disc brakes bring this Pony to screeching halt just in case you right foot becomes a little too heavy. The paint on the car is slick and been taken back its original red with the base coat clear coat giving it an even deeper look. The ram air hood lets everyone know that this isn’t your average pony especially with the rumbling from that stroked out big block under the hood. A look inside shows that the original style parchment interior, from TMI with sport foam, gives the car that factory look. The magnum 500 wheels finish the car off nicely and were one the best wheels to leave the factory. If you have been wanting a great S-Code but a with a little more oomph this red rocket should do the trick. Options on this 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback S code include, AC, AM/FM Radio, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Vinyl Interior and Magnum 500 Wheels wrapped in Radial Tires. This 1967 Ford Mustang GTA Fastback is for sale in our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD Video at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Fort Lauderdale is happy to offer this extra-sharp looking 1999 Porsche 911 Carerra. Car & Driver wrote Just your average 170-mph daily driver... The 99 model was, after all, the first 911 powered by a water-cooled flat-six. It was also the first 911 with completely new sheet metal since, well, since the cars introduction at the 1963 Frankfurt auto show. This 1999 Porsche 911 Carerra (aka 996v-1) was clearly taken care of since new and shows only 33,858 miles on the clock. The black paint has a smooth deep gloss to it and is set off by a gorgeous set of wheels, and intense headlamps. It looks menacing even 22 years after being produced. The powerful flat-6 engine comes in at 206.67 cu-in, 11.3-1 compression ratio, making 296 horsepower @ 6800 rpm and 258 ft. lbs. of torque at 4600 rpm. That is one feisty little devil making more than 1 horsepower per cubic inch, capable of twisting out 0-100 in 12 seconds. Grab your Starbucks honey and wave Buh-bye! The black interior sports bucket seats & console and feels like a cockpit. Condition is very good throughout. It is a refined level of luxury, business & fun with plenty of creature comforts to pamper you while cruising down the road. Nice Porsches like this do not last long around here. For sale in our South Florida showroom is this amazing 1967 Chevrolet Camaro. This car was built for professional IMSA racecar driver Joseph Safina. Absolutely no expenses were spared on this build. The idea was on bringing modern engineering to this incredible 67 Camaro. We are thrilled to have the finished product in our South Florida showroom. Okay, let’s start this off here. This Camaro is powered by a new LS3 engine that has about 100 miles on the clock. Between the engine and the rear Moser differential, you will find a 6 speed manual gearbox from Chevrolet Performance. Before we continue with some more specs let us tell you that this Camaro is a blast to drive. The Camaro has more than enough power and in combination with the 6 speed tranny, you will have a smile on your face while driving. On all four wheels you will find Wilwood disc brakes. The car comes with all new brake lines, hoses, fuel lines, wiring and a custom fuel tank. The old suspension is all gone and was replaced with a RideTech coilover system. There are many more modifications, but the list is just too long to post everything here. Let’s continue with the exterior and interior. New tires are wrapped around custom made COR rims. The wheels are a perfect match for the gorgeous red paint. The whole appearance of this Camaro is just amazing. You will see immediately that this 67 was done right. Open the door and continue to be amazed. A complete custom interior invites you inside. Take a seat and you will never have the feeling that the Chevy is over 50 years old. Everything was done right on this car. Over $150,000 was invested in this Camaro. You won’t miss any goodies like power steering, power windows, GPS to a modern A/C system. It drives like a new car and she is ready for a new owner. This is a must see and drive. Let it ride!!! Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is pleased to offer this wonderful 1940 Buick Super 8 convertible for sale on consignment right now in our Arizona showroom, located in North Phoenix. 1940 was the first year for these mesmerizing full-size Buicks, which were produced on GMs C Body platform (shared with Cadillac Series 62 and Oldsmobile 90). This really is a stunning vehicle and although cosmetic repairs have been done, it retains a lot of value by remaining mostly original. Painted in “Casino Beige, your friends will think youve hit the jackpot when they see you rolling in this drop top Super 8. The fender skirts, split windshield and Firestone white wall tires are a sign of the times but this car wouldnt be the same without them. This Buick Super 8s convertible top has new fabric and comes with a matching Tan boot cover for a finishing touch. Under the dual side opening hood is Buicks 248 “Fireball inline 8-cylinder motor that purrs into life every time you push the start button. Yes, this 1940 vehicle has a “push to start that replaces the traditional floor starter and almost passes off as a factory original item! A 3-speed “three on the tree manual transmission with the shifter located on the column is authentic and has the benefit of adding room inside this ‘40 Buick. It wouldnt be right to overlook some of the quirky interior features of this luxo-barge either; luxurious Red leather bench seats front and rear, the steering wheel looks like it came out of a sailing boat and is covered in chrome with a horn ring, the equally bright chrome dash with stock gauges/instruments and the large clock on the passenger side with functioning AM radio. Perhaps the most notable time capsule feature is the ashtray and lighter built into the dash and the two additional ashtrays for back seat passengers.. oh, how times have changed! This vehicle has been in the same family for many years and has been loved and taken care of. Tomorrow this piece of history could be in your garage! Our helpful and knowledgeable Sales staff will put our eyes and ears on this collectable 1940 Buick Super 8 convertible for you if you give us a call today at (623) 900-4884. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars Houston Showroom is excited to offer this beautifully-restored 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 396. This 138 series Chevelle SS has a 396 CID V8 and 2-speed Powerglide automatic. Built to L35 specs (396CID/325HP), the big 396 sends its twist out back to a limited-slip (Posi-trac) GM 12-bolt rear end with 3.73:1 gears, which is an good ratio for both acceleration and cruising with the Glide tranny. This 1966 Chevelle SS for sale has good low-end torque for getting away at those stop lights, and plenty of power for passing most mere excuses for cars. Cast iron exhaust manifolds funnel the spent gases into the 2.5 dual exhaust and help provide a nice muscle sound, albeit more subtly than if it had headers. Everything looks factory, which is very cool indeed; and with only about 500 miles since both engine and transmission were rebuilt, this Chevelle SS has plenty of miles ahead of it! Speaking of cool, this SS 396 Chevelle has A/C, and its GM/Harrison system has been converted to use R134a refrigerant, which is a big plus for driving around when its hot outside, or when its super humid and one needs dehumidified air to keep the windows from fogging. The gorgeous Regal Red paint looks great, and is just the right color for such a well-executed vintage Chevelle. Inside, the black interior is in very good condition, with synthetic leather front buckets and rear bench having been redone to better than anything GM ever put out in 1967. The restoration has been done to a level that nearly everything looks like new, including the knee knocker tach. Additional features and options on this 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle SS include Air Conditioning, AM radio, Hub Caps, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Posi-Trac, Redline Radial Tires, Seat Belts, Spare Tire and Jack, and Vinyl Seating.
