The El Camino has a clean appearance from the outside that made it highly notable at car shows bringing home the gold quite often. With shaved door supplies, it gives the outward appearance of muscle car that was built by a craftsman perfecting an art. The “Aqua-Turquoise paint reflects beautifully in the sun and matches nicely with the custom saddle wood tan interior. The paint was recently done in 2020 as the owner wanted to keep up on just how fresh and clean this car truly is.Drive it to any car show with complete ease, this car was built in mind for highway driving with aftermarket cruise control, .308 gears, and an aftermarket AM/FM Bluetooth radio with front and rear speakers that give you a concert experience for the long road ahead! Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Dallas is excited to present for sale this 1968 Chevrolet El Camino SS-396. This El Camino is very well known among the Worlds El Camino Community. For the past 13+ years, the owner has been a leader of the National El Camino Owners Association (NECOA*), the last 10+ serving as the National Director of the 24 worldwide Regions. The car was shown frequently at the US Nationals in his early ownership, winning a total of 3 Best of Show awards from both peer voting and professional judges. It was also shown frequently at various Florida shows, where it won a total of 2 Best of Class at Super Chevy and Bradenton. Awards won by this car in Texas are too numerous to catalog. When it was in competition, it generally won a Best in Class - and many times was Best in Show or Crowd Favorite. The El Camino has been voted by fellow El Camino owners to be one of the 13 Best in Association for the past 12 years. This honor allowed her to be presented in the Associations Showpiece calendar each year. This El Camino is one of just over 500 factory air-conditioned SS-396 El Caminos built for the 1968 model year. To preserve the car for future generations, the engine in 2010 underwent a major preservation service - it was completely balanced internally! That, along with the practically non-wearing roller rocker arms, should allow this engine to keep purring along for decades. Approximately 2,000 miles have been driven since the balancing. The car also underwent a down to metal restoration of its paint in 2010 - including under the hood - even though it underwent a rotisserie restoration in 2007/2008. The paint had numerous defects, and it needed to be just right. And, while everything was stripped from the car, POR-15 was liberally applied to all interior floors - any surfaces that COULD possibly rust were coated with the rust prohibiting application. The beds Smugglers Compartment was included in the application. Following the POR-15, a coating of Dynamat was applied to all interior floors and walls - again including the Smugglers Compartment. The 1968 model is a great year for the El Camino and this body style didnt last for long making them pretty rare too! This 1968 Chevrolet El Camino SS is listed by our Dallas Showroom and can be viewed in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

Now for sale in our Houston Showroom is this gorgeous 1960 Chevrolet Impala! This is no ordinary Impala. This is a true survivor car. The 283 CID V8 engine is the original that was put in the car in the factory when it was being put together. Covering only 18,176 miles since it first drove off the showroom floor all those years ago. Amazingly, the paint on this car has the original undercoat on it! Even the original AM radio in the car works as it should. This is part of a two-model-year run for the second generation of the much-loved Impala. The 1959 Chevrolet Impala was redesigned. Sharing bodyshells with lower-end Buicks and Oldsmobiles as well as with Pontiac, part of a GM economy move, the Chevrolets wheelbase was 1-1/2 inches longer. Using a new X-frame chassis, the roof line was three inches lower, bodies were two inches wider, and curb weight increased. Its tailfins protruded outward, rather than upward. The taillights were a large teardrop design at each side, and two slim-wide nonfunctional front air intake scoops were added just above the grille, The Impala became a separate series, adding a four-door hardtop and four-door sedan, to the two-door Sport Coupe and convertible. Sport Coupes featured a shortened roof line and wrap-over back window. Standard were front and rear armrests, an electric clock, dual sliding sun visors, and crank-operated front vent windows. A contoured hooded instrument panel held deep-set gauges. A six-way power seat was a new option, as was Speed minder, for the driver to set a needle at a specific speed and a buzzer would sound if the pre-set was exceeded. The 1960 Impala models reinstated three round taillights on each side, and a white band running along the rear fenders. Anyone looking at the pictures and video of this beautiful machine can clearly see why it’s a great buy. The design is timeless. Don’t wait until it’s gone to inquire. Don’t miss your chance to get behind the wheel of this one. Contact Gateway Classic Cars in Houston for more information. Financing and shipping options are available. Office hours are Monday through Saturday 9-5pm central time. The telephone number for our showroom is (832) 243-6220 or if you prefer, you can email us at houston@gatewayclassiccars.com.

Description:

For sale in our Chicago showroom is this incredible 2010 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS. While the 5th generation of the Camaro still has plenty of years to become a “collectible,” this particular example got a bit of a head start. This is not only one of the 50 “Early Order” package Camaros, it is believed to be the first 5th generation Camaro delivered in North America! Of course, it is an RS/SS, giving it the beastly 6.2L LS3, and GM did this one right with a 6-speed manual transmission. With a factory rating just north of 400 horsepower at the crankshaft, the owner of this early build wanted to really make the car something special. Several hands were laid on the vehicle, including Aaron Kaufman most known from Gas Monkey Garage (see his signature in the engine compartment!) to turn this standard RS/SS into a fire-breathing monster churning out an otherworldly 540 rear-wheel horsepower naturally aspirated! All that power does no good if it can’t get to the ground, so a set of actual Copo Camaro rims was sourced with a set of Mickey Thompson ET Streets to get the job done. Everyone loves to go fast, and plenty of people like to look good, but the seller of this car refuses to have his cars look anything less than breathtaking. The original GM paint looks good from the factory, but good wasn’t good enough. After 60+ hours on the factory paint job wet sanding, buffing, and otherwise correcting the work of two-robots, you see the masterpiece presented here. Get within 15 feet of this car, and you can almost feel it’s presence. Turn the key and hear the beast wake with an angry growl. With just over 2,100 miles, this early 2010 is practically brand new! This stout Camaro will teach any show car a thing or two, and will impress almost anyone who sees it. Options include: AM/FM/CD, Cruise Control, Lumbar Support, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Power Locks, Jack, Power Windows, Anti-Lock Brakes, Tilt/Telescopic Steering Wheel, Traction Control, Keyless Entry, Ride Control, Power Mirrors, Drivers Airbag, Passengers Airbag, Rear Airbags, Anti-Theft System, Cloth Interior, Radial Tires, Racing Wheels, and a PosiTraction Rear Axle. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to offer a beautifully constructed 1936 Ford Humpback Street Rod. This all steel street rod was built about 3 years ago and has only obtained about 2,713 miles since. The car is finished in a beautiful deep coat of gloss black. As most people know, black is one of the most difficult colors to paint a car. The body and prep work has to be perfect and the paint laid by a professional. In this case everything was done right and the result is beautiful. To complete the look, the bright work is all beautifully finished and it sits on a set of tasteful 5 spoke Boyd Coddington wheels. Look past these wheels in the front and youll find drilled and slotted front disc brakes. In addition to the power disc brakes, the front sub frame has been swapped out with a Mustang II set up. This adds rack and pinion steering as well. The whole chassis is a custom piece which is nicely finished underneath and would be out of place at a car show. To improve the ride even more, it sits on coil over shocks in all four corners. Powering this beauty is a ZZ4 350 CID V8 crate engine. It is nicely dressed up with plenty of chrome under the hood and sounds great through headers and dual exhaust. The engine is backed by a 700R4 automatic transmission which runs to a 9 Ford rear end. This is a nicely powered package for regular driving and even a good set up for a road trip. Inside youll find beautiful custom red interior which is comfortable and plush. It has seating for four and all the comforts of home. There is a nicely integrated custom stereo which sounds as good as it looks. This one also has a fully functional Vintage Air unit which includes A/C, heat, and defrost. Description:

Now for sale in our Houston Showroom is this classic 1990 Jaguar XJ-6. If youve always wanted a Jag, but didnt think you could afford one, now is your chance. This car maintains the unmistakable lines and luxury of the Jaguar brand. New for 1990, analog gauges replaced the digital dash that looked so out of place on 1989s Jaguar. Engine power was also boosted from 1989, and a new four-speed automatic transmission was introduced to deliver the power to the rear wheels. The 4.0L inline 6 cylinder engine that propels this cat has plenty of torque to move you down the road quickly, smoothly, and quietly. Compared to the previous years 3-speed automatic transmission, and thanks to its 4-speed automatic transmission, youll be able to bypass a lot more gas stations than you could have if you were in the 1989 XJ-6. Clothed in a nice shade of navy blue metallic, with a matching navy blue interior, it is a good looking car. Inside, along with the leather, youll find plenty of that British burlwood that adds a welcome touch of warmth and class to the interior. Options on this 1990 Jaguar XJ-6 for sale in our Houston showroom include Air Conditioning, Aluminum Wheels, AM/FM Radio with Cassette, Cruise Control, Leather Interior, Power Locks, Power Steering, Power Windows, Tilt/Telescopic Steering column, and British Class.
