In 1963 was a major leap for Corvette. It was an entirely new platform, new design, new independent suspension. Chevrolet realized they had real competition in the Cobra. Zora Duntov and company decided to introduce a new package, called the ZO6. Most of the new collectors today think the ZO6 just came about, but they came out with the ZO6 back in 1963 for one year and then was reintroduced in 2001. The ZO6 option consisted of the optional 327/360 Fuel Injected Engine, F40-Heavy Duty Suspension, Power Brakes, Heavy Duty Brakes with cooling fins, brake scoops, sintered metallic brake scoops and an optional 36-Gallon Gas Tank “Big-Tank”. In total 199 ZO6's were produced and of the 199, 63 of them had the “Big Tank”option.

This particular ZO6 Big Tank is as good as it gets. It has binders full of documentation, previous sales invoices. This car has undergone a complete frame-off restoration. It has been seen by the experts and unequivocally authenticated. This car has gone through David Burroughts “Prove It” authentication process and the engine numbers have been authenticated by CCAS “Al Grenning”. The ZO6 aficionado Tony Avedisian has gone through this car himself and prepped it to earn its NCRS Top Flight Award in 2019.

ZO6 Corvettes are at the top of the food chain when it comes to sought after Corvettes.

Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG

• 1 Owner
• Always serviced at Mercedes-Benz
• Very very clean car
• Clean Car Fax
• Zero Paintwork

This SLS AMG Coupe was purchased new at Carriage House Motors Mercedes-Benz. This car has come from a fastidious owner that never missed a service interval. This car has never been tracked, this car is in very good condition.

The CarFax shows 3 owners but it is a 1 owner car. The owner had it as a business lease and then a personal lease so this reflects 2 of the changes prior to putting it in his personal name.

Condition Rating:
Exterior: We performed a 2 stage detailing paint correction. This car shows very very well. The only area that shows wear is the bottom rockers and lower rear bumper fascia behind the wheels.

Wheels: Wheels are in very good condition. They do not show any signs of wear or curb rash. The brake calipers have some wear from a wheel cleaner at one point. 3 of the Calipers have clear coat that is partially missing but the red paint is still on.

Tires: New Michelin Pilot Sports with 1,500 miles on them.

Interior: Shows very well with minimal wear showing. We did some touch up on the driver side seat bolster and the seat now looks close to new.

Engine Compartment & Undercarriage: Very clean. We did a cleaning of the engine compartment. The undercarriage is clean and does not show any wear and bottoming out wear.

Fuel Injected

-4-speed (Late build)
-Fresh Restored-Frame-Off Restored
-Restored to NCRS standards

1957 for the Corvette was one of the cleanest designed cars, it was the pinnacle for American car design and the first year for "Fuel Injection". The 1957 Corvette is one of the most iconic Corvettes and most sought after. One first was "One Horsepower per Cubic Inch" The 283ci "Fuelie" pumped out 283hp.

The styling of the 1957 Corvette was largely unchanged, however the performance vastly improved. In 1957 the new Corvette took a giant stride forward with the introduction of the new Ramjet Fuel Injection. This was at the time, the most advanced performance feature ever offered on an American production engine. The Ramjet Fuel Injection, an efficient constant flow system that eliminated the carburetor, delivered fuel directly to the cylinders for instantaneous accelerator response, greater overall fuel economy, higher low-speed torque and smoothness, ease of starting and overall improvement of engine performance, was sensational. In one bold stroke the 1957 Chevrolet Corvette provided a new dimension of driving pleasure.

Valve-in-head V8, 283-cubic-inch displacement, 3.88″ bore x 3.0″ stroke, 9.5 to 1 compression ratio. 220 h.p. at 4600 r.p.m. with 4-barrel carburetor. 245 h.p. at 5000 r.p.m with Ramjet Fuel Injection system. High-lift camshaft, hydraulic valve lifters. Independent operating mechanism for each valve. Cast aluminum rocker covers on optional engines. Buffed aluminum racing-type oil-wetted air cleaners, chrome plated single air cleaner with fuel injection. Five-bearing forged steel crank-shaft. Special replaceable-insert main and connecting rod bearings. Full-pressure lubrication system with full-flow oil filter. Full dual exhaust system. Shielded ignition, 12-volt electrical system. Engine precision balanced after assembly.

Maximum performance 283 h.p. at 6200 r.p.m. engine available only with close-ratio Synchro-Mesh features Ramjet Fuel Injection system, 10.5 to 1 compression ratio, competition-type camshaft, and high-speed valve system with special valve springs, spring dampers, and mechanical valve lifters.

This particular car underwent a full frame-off restoration to NCRS specifications. This car is a great Collector Car in any collection.

The 1963 Corvette needs no introduction. It is synonomus with any car collector, especially, when you say, “Split Window”. The brain child of Zora-Arkus Duntov, Bill Mitchell and Larry Shinoda. The 63' was the first year for the “independent suspension,” it put Corvette on the map internationally. It competed head to head with the Cobra's.

The C2 body style, aka as the, “Mid-years,” is one of the most recognizable car designs and the, “Split Window,” is the most iconic of all of the Corvettes right there with the, “Gullwing Mercedes.” Automobile Magazine did a survey, “100 Coolest Cars.” The C2 was voted #1 of the coolest cars and they said it best, “Like James Dean, JFK and Jimmy Clark, midyear Corvettes left the scene at the peak of their game.”
This is a rare Factory Tuxedo Black 63 Fuelie coupe. The car was treated to a no expense spared frame-off restoration. It is painted with GM Factory Black Lacquer. It is all matching numbers and looks as good underneath as she does up top. This car is ready for the judging field. Every part on the car was restored, the fuel injection unit was rebuilt by John Degregory and is pure jewelry.
This is a true investment grade 63 Fuelie Coupe.

Tasca Lightweight 428 Cobra Jet

-1 of 50 Tasca Lightweights
-Fully Restored with Original Interior
-Complete Ownership History
-Factory Supporting Documentation
-Marti Report

The 1968 Ford Mustang “Tasca Lightweight Cobra Jet” was the predecessor to the factory Ford Cobra Jet. The first 50 fastbacks were produced at “Lightweights”. The idea for this car was born from Bob Tasca who was disappointed in Ford's performance with the 390ci; he went through the Ford Parts Catalog and modified his test car “KR-8” with a 428 “Police Interceptor” with 406 heads, GT390 camshaft and other components readily available from dealership parts bins. Together with his engine builder, John Healey, they built what Ford should have. His point, Ford already had the pieces to offer a Mustang that could compete with GTOs and SS Camaros. The publicity awoke a sleeping giant. In January 1968, Ford sent five Wimbledon White Mustang fastbacks to the NHRA's Winternationals. Specially built as “lightweights” without seam sealer or sound deadener and equipped with a 428 that incorporated many of Tasca's modifications; the Mustangs ripped through the Super Stock field with Al Joniec defeating Hubert Platt in a Ford vs. Ford final.

Bob Tasca drove his first car from Rhode Island to Dearborn, MI to Ford to show the reliability and to have Ford test the car. The next year, Ford Motor Co. adopted his recipe and the new performance Mustang was dubbed the “428 Cobra Jet”.

This car was then purchased by another top tier muscle car collector who performed a full rotisserie restoration with all of receipts included.

This car has full documentation. It is accompanied by the Deluxe Marti Report, Full Owner History, Previous Registrations, Restoration Receipts. Ford Certificate of Origin.

This is a true investment grade Muscle Car.

1966 was the first year for the 427ci Big Block. This 66' Corvette is two owner California unrestored Survivor. This car was owned by two previous owners before being purchased by its current collectors. The previous owner was a Chevrolet dealer that had kept the car in his possession since 1975 while only putting on 1,300 miles on the car during that period. This is a perfect candidate for any survivor or preservation judging, especially the "Preservation Class" at Pebble Beach. This car has a guaranteed "Original" motor and driveline, and original trim and vin tags. This car is a true "Unrestored" survivor with 42,000 original documented miles. Recent Service and judging. CERTIFIED ORIGINAL OEM MOTOR, DRIVELINE, TRIM AND VIN TAGS. If you look closely this is a great example of an original car. You can see the inspection marks on some of the suspension components, the masking tape on the frame. The original weatherstriping and glue are great examples of what originality is. This car was recently judged at Bloomington Gold in 2016.

• 2 Owner C5ZO6

• CT car its entire life

• Serviced at original selling dealer with original owner

• 2nd owned added many tasteful modifications

• No accidents, clean CarFax

2001 was the first time the, “ZO6” moniker was used since 1963. The, “ZO6,” package was made to go racing, lightweight, higher performance upgrades, such as better brakes and stiffer suspension. When the C5 was launched in 1999, the plan from the beginning of the design in 1996 was to go racing with this model, hence the C5R was born and in 2001, the ZO6 was born and in production ever since. Before the ZO6 was born as an option, the fixed roof coupe (FRC), was going to be a, “cheaper” entry level model, with roll up windows, no air conditioning and stripped down. Thankfully, General Motors didn't go that direction and introduced the ZO6 model.

This ZO6 was purchased new a McDermott Chevrolet in East Haven, CT by the original owner in November 2000. It was fastidiously maintained by him at the dealership. It was held by the original owner until 2003 where it was traded into Dan Perkins Chevrolet in Milford, CT. It was acquired by the second owner in June of 2003. The second owner had the car maintained at the original selling dealership, McDermott Chevrolet under his stewardship.

The second owner did tasteful mods over the past eighteen years of ownership. He has added leather seat covers, but also includes the original seat covers. It has larger wheels and tires with offsets along with wider rear fenders to accommodate the 335 tires (the original fenders are also included). Performance upgrades to the engine are too long to list, but all of the receipts are included with the purchase. The 2nd owner is happy to talk with the new owner about the engine upgrades. The car runs on pump gas.

This is a great way to get into the sports car segment with a 2 owner C5 ZO6.

427 cid L-88 V-8 engine, single Holley 850 CFM four-barrel carburetor, 560 HP (Est.) (Factory-Rated 430) at 6,400 RPM, Muncie M-22 close-ratio four-speed manual transmission, four-wheel hydraulic disc brakes, independent front suspension with A-arms and coil springs, independent rear suspension with lateral struts, radius rods, and transverse leaf spring; wheelbase: 98”

Rooted in development work led since 1962 by Zora Arkus-Duntov, Chevrolet's head of Corvette engineering, the “Heavy-Duty 427” that eventually gained fame as RPO L-88 was first “field tested” with Roger Penske's Sunoco racing team at the 1966 Daytona 24 Hour Continental. When the smoke cleared, Penske's team broke the GT-class record, won class, and finished 11th overall, confirming the potency of Duntov's brainchild and immediately conferring an outstanding competition pedigree on the L-88. Next, at Sebring, one of Penske's L-88s led class from start to finish and came 9th overall – the best-ever Corvette finish until then.

Next, the newly restyled C3 Corvettes were intended – in L-88 tune – to race at Daytona and Sebring in early 1968. However, the FIA-mandated 500-car production numbers of the new car could not be achieved by Chevrolet within the August-November 1967 time frame. It was not until November '67 when James Garner's high-profile American International Racing (A.I.R.) team received the first three C3 L-88 cars from Chevy. While only two of them ran at Daytona, one retiring early and the other finishing 29th, all three of Don Yenko's Sunray-DX team cars swept the GT-class podium, cementing the L-88 legend. Race-numbered 29 and co-driven by Yenko and Peter Revson, this L-88-powered 1968 Corvette finished second in class at Daytona between the class-winning Grant/Morgan Number 31 '67 L-88 and DeLorenzo/Thompson in the Number 30 '68 car.

A word about Sunray-DX racing is required. For a brief but brilliant period during the late 1960s, Tulsa, Oklahoma's Sunray-DX petroleum company fielded one of America's best and most successful racing teams and one that brought its products and the L-88 Corvette to international prominence. Starting in 1965, Ralph Morrison Jr., public relations supervisor at Sunray-DX, organized a promotional campaign involving auto racing to market their products. Morrison approached Canonsburg, Pennsylvania Chevy dealer Don Yenko, the successful road-racer who enjoyed a special relationship with GM and chief Corvette engineer Zora Arkus-Duntov, to launch the project. In just 16 months, Sunray-DX cars raced with great success at the pinnacle of 1960s motor racing at Daytona, Sebring, Watkins Glen, Riverside, and in SCCA competition.

Known as the “showroom” car to L-88 authors and historians, this particular L-88 Corvette was built up for racing when new by Don Yenko, since the factory L-88 car he ordered would not arrive in time for the 1968 Daytona 24-Hour race, so he plucked a Rally Red L-71 427/435 street hardtop convertible off his showroom floor to transform into a screaming L-88 racer. Following the Yenko/Sunray-DX 1-2-3 triumph at Daytona and this car's second-place class podium there, Yenko teamed up for the Sebring 12 Hours in this car, renumbered 2, with Pedro Rodriguez in the rising star's one and only ride in a Corvette. While the L-88s suffered suspension issues and rear-end failures, including this car, which was forced to retire on Lap 43, Yenko and Rodriguez set a blistering new GT-class lap record with it. This car was also registered as one of two anticipated Sunray-DX entries for the 1968 24 Hours of Le Mans, but political unrest in France and rescheduling of the race from June to September frustrated this effort. Finally, the buyout of Sunray-DX by Sunoco closed the final chapter of this highly successful American racing team.

Next, Don Yenko campaigned this Corvette as his personal racer up and down the East Coast and Midwest and it carried him to the SCCA Midwest Division Title in 1968. This car was subsequently sold by Sunoco to Robert Luebbe of New York, an SCCA racer. Detailed correspondence regarding the sale of this car and a supply of spare parts from Sunoco to Luebbe is on file, dated late 1970. The Corvette remained in its 1970s racing configuration until the early 2000s when it was purchased from Frank Joyce, who campaigned the car in the '70s and '80s. The car remained in his livery until it was purchased by its current avid Corvette collectors, and then during 2008, it was restored to its “Number 2” Sebring 1968 glory by respected expert Kevin MacKay at Corvette Repair of Valley Stream, New York. Following completion, the car has received the coveted NCRS American Heritage Award representing the Corvette racing legacy, which involves verification that this is the car and chassis number that raced in period. Not surprisingly, the original team members verified the car as well. Other recognition includes induction into the Bloomington Gold® Special Collection. As expected, this famous L-88 Corvette is very well-documented with a thick binder containing full ownership history, the NCRS Shipping Data Report, NCRS Award Verification Letter, and all original paperwork from new, including Sunray-DX correspondence, making this car one of the most historically significant and well-verified of all C3 Corvette racecars in existence and available. Truly a once-in-a-generation opportunity.
