This rare 200 CI 6 cylinder and 3 speed manual transmission have been completely rebuilt just under 11,000 miles ago. The 200 CI 6 is rated at 120 horse power but sure feels like more. Contrary to popular belief, the first model year for the Ford Mustang was 1965. Mustangs produced between March 9th and July 31st of 1964 are often coined the 1964 ½ Ford Mustang by enthusiasts, but for all intents and purposes, the cars are 1965 models on paper. The 1965 Mustang listed is built after the time line and is an actual 1965 with the 200 inline 6. This particular Mustang has been restored and redone about 7 years ago and has a 170 sticker on the air breather but it is in fact the 200 due to there being 5 freeze plugs in the block. It has recently had new tires and brakes put on it. The overall condition of the paint, interior, and engine in my opinion would rate as show quality. The Chevrolet Monte Carlo is a two-door coupé that was produced by Chevrolet through six generations from model year 1970 to model year 2007. This once timid 1982 Monte Carlo has turned into a fire breathing, earth pounding, head turning Super Sport clone with a take no prisoner attitude that is STREET LEGAL!!!! . Pumping life into this beast is a 454 CID V8, .040 over, steel rods, cast crank, Comp hydraulic cam, roller rocker arms, oval port heads, Victor Jr. intake oval port, Holley 950 double pumper carburetor, MSD distributer, MSD 6AL box and blaster 3 coil, Miloden 7 qt oil pan, ARP bolts(head, rod, main), SFI flex plate, Taylor 10mm spark plug wires, chrome alternator, March Billet pulleys, remote oil filter, forged pistons, and a 3500 stall. Phew!!! Whats this all mean? Not only 550+ horsepower, but also 535 lb ft of torque are getting cranked out of this incredible Big Block Chevy. This power is then routed through a Turbo 400 transmission, with TCI aluminum trans pan, braided lines, custom transmission cross member, Hurst quarter stick, Hurst roll control, drive shaft loop, and balanced drive shaft. Putting this power to the pavement is a rear end built and assembled by Curry Enterprise, a 9 inch Ford rear end narrowed 2 inches on each side, with Curry 31 spline axles, and a Detroit locker with 3.70 gears. The rear frame rails have been moved in 3 inches and its been mini-tubbed. Stopping this Chevy isnt a problem with the Wilwood 4 piston calipers in the front and dual piston calipers in the rear. Wilwood vented rotors are in the front and rear as well. While looking underneath, also note the gas shocks all around, Hotchkis upper and lower control arms with tubular lateral links in the rear, and Hotchkis upper A-arms in the front. In the front are F-body spindles, rebuilt lower A-arms and all new steering components including tie rod ends, adjustment sleeves, center link, idler arm, hangers, bushings, sway bar bushings, end link, brake lines and fittings. Temperature is not a problem, the engine is kept cool by a Griffin aluminum radiator, closed radiator panel and TCI 15-1/2 x 10 inch transmission cooler. The exhaust gives this animal the roar it deserves. It all starts with the 2 inch Hooker Super Competition headers and followed up with 3 inch Torque Tech exhaust and 3 inch 2 chamber Flowmaster mufflers. All of this is welded and band clamped, and theres even stainless steel header bolts. If that wasnt enough, all of the exhaust is also powder coated. But thats not all, the undercarriage is a satin black, gloss gray and gloss purple. If you can tear yourself away from looking underneath this Monte, then take a step back and look at the exterior. The body is draped with Toyota Super White paint #040. The engine compartment is even painted with a high gloss black. The custom Burgundy interior has an embroidered head rest and dash. Autometer gauges encompass this interior. The trunk also is custom with a custom fuel cell cover. Under the custom cover is a RCI 16 gallon fuel cell. The fuel is fed by a Holley blue pump with fuel filter. The Weld Prostar aluminum polished wheels are all wrapped with BF Goodrich Radial T/A rubber. Photos and this awesome description simply do not describe how nice this car is. This is a true MUST SEE! The C5 (1997- 2004) was the most completely redesigned Corvette since the Corvettes inception in 1953. Production of the C5 Corvette actually began in 1996 but quality/manufacturing issues saw its release to the public in mass delayed until 1997, and continuing through the 2004 model year. The C5 was a completely new design that featured many new concepts and manufacturing breakthroughs that would be carried forward to the C6 & C7. It had a top speed of 176 mph (283 km/h) and was judged by the automotive press as a breakthrough with vastly improved dynamics in nearly every area over the previous C4 design. The list of all new innovations include: • Industry leading 0.29 drag coefficient • Near 50/50 weight distribution (actually 51%F/49%R) due to the all new powertrain layout • The first Corvette to actually use an upper rear suspension arm, instead of the drive shafts performing double duty as the upper locator arm • An all new chassis design that was more akin to a stressed monocoque than the former ladder designs which featured an all new stressed center tunnel design for increased torsional rigidity • All new hyrdoformed side rails increased torsional rigidity more than 4 times that of the C4 and previous Corvette generations • All new suspension geometries, in which the actual chassis widths and lengths were changed to affect the track and wheelbase dimensions.
